Homemade cassava tortillas recipe
Serves: 5
Ingredients:
¾ cup Otto’s cassava flour
½ tsp Himalayan pink salt
¾ tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp olive oil
⅔ cup warm water
Preparation:
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the warm water and knead until a soft dough is formed. Divide it in five small balls and press with a tortilla press or between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out into flat circles.
Heat a cast iron skillet using no oil and cook each tortilla for 2-3 minutes or until it is easily lifted off the surface of the skillet. Flip and cook the second side for a minute or two. Serve warm topped with your favorite topping.
